What We Offer
The Huts are set in the middle of 10 acres of private land. We have introduced a contact-free self-check-in and check-out system. We undertake enhanced cleaning and sanitising prior to check-in and provide alcohol-gel and other sanitising products in the Huts for our guests convenience and safety.
We provide a seasonal breakfast hamper including croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, butter, preserves, honey, granola, milk, orange juice, as well as tea and coffee (Nespresso machine), biscuits and fresh fruits. When and where possible, we try to provide seasonal home grown fruit as we grow fruit on site, such as strawberries, raspberries, apples, blueberries, pears, damsons, plums and tomatoes. Our breakfast hamper should be sufficient for up to 4 days; we will provide a further hamper (or hampers) for guests staying more than four days, if desired by the guests (again, we do not want to disturb guests who do not want to be disturbed).

As explained below, you have access to most of the 10 acres surrounding Buckhurst & Mountbatten.
Both huts have 24" HD freeview televisions, ***NEW FOR 2023+++ Netflix (ready to watch with no login details required), BBC iPlayer, YouTube and an array of Smart Apps and Channels. There are also board games, toys, cards and books for adult and child guests to enjoy. The Huts also has a Veho music system, which connects to your phone or tablet by Bluetooth.

***NEW FOR 2023*** The internet is now hardwired from the main house, offering improved and very good internet access (49 Mbps). 3G/4G should also be available on most networks.

The property is all electric (no gas), including the heating, which is amply provided through a log-effect fire in the living area in Buckhurst and a large radiator in the bathroom. Mountbatten comes with underfloor heating and a towel radiator in the en-suite.
